Sunshine Coast Vacation Travel Guide | Expedia

Sunshine Coast – A region blessed by mother nature, venture here to enjoy miles of spectacular coastline on one side and tranquil hinterland on the other.

When ready, browse vacation packages to Sunshine Coast:

Just over an hour north of Queensland’s capital, Brisbane, lies Australia’s #SunshineCoast. Endless golden beaches, year-round swimming and an easygoing attitude, make this the perfect #vacation spot to slow down and unwind. In this beautiful region, the casual glamour of Noosa, merges into the family fun of Caloundra and blends with the artistic flair of the hinterland.

The most famous town is Noosa Heads - an indulgent and stylish getaway with white beaches almost completely surrounded by national park. Follow winding tracks to unspoilt headlands then cool off in crystal clear waters.

#Explore rock pools at Mooloolaba Beach or learn more about the ocean at Sea Life - Underwater World. Wildlife experiences don’t come much more intense than the legendary Crocodile Hunter’s Australia Zoo.

Follow sandy footprints along the Sunshine Coast and leave a few of your own in this beautiful place.

For now, we hope you enjoy watching this #travel #guide as much as we enjoyed making it.

Tatsūkiji : I live here for 6 years now and all I can say is that Sunny Coast is Heaven.
alison99554 : If you want to go to a less touristy sandy beach and less traffic go to Coolum beach (entrance is near the skatepark ) way more relaxed than Noosa and Mooloolaba there's also a supermarket nearby if you want to use the public BBQ you can also get a great view of the beach from Point Perry, another place to check out is the boardwalk of Mt Coolum and if you're going to Mooloolaba first checkout Point Cartwright.

About Town: Stab's Guide To The Sunshine Coast

Welcome to the first episode of About Town, a new series from Stab and Summer Bright in which we explore, with gusto, the most vibrant pockets of Australian surf culture. We’re all fond of a road trip, or a weekend getaway; It’s the Australian surf dream. And if you happen to live in Oz, there needn’t be any reason why you should look beyond its coastlines.

It was Stab and Summer Bright’s wish to unfold the secrets of what makes some of our favourite surf towns great: Where to get coffee, where to surf, where to jump off, who to watch out for in the lineup, where to dine, where to enjoy some post-surf suds, and more. And of course, we tapped some local pros to be our hosts.

We chose surf towns that haven’t been overly-documented. For our first episode, we skipped Coolangatta, wonderful though it is, instead looking further north to its lesser known cousin, the Sunshine Coast. Come jump in the 4WD with Mitch Coleborn and Harry Bryant, and let’s get to know one Australia’s most enjoyable surf trip destinations.
Explore Infinite : I felt like the video was a bit Noosa based... I know it’s got the best waves but it’s not really part of the sunny coast, ask any local.
Alexander MCINTYRE : do about town vic surf coast (Bells,Jan Juc ect...)
PETER NEWMAN : Back in the 70s early 80s i loved going up the Sunny Coast as it was nice and quiet.
Then the developers discovered it and now I prefer the Gold Coast and down to Byron but it is also going down the toilet!!!
